Introducing Bite My Idea & Free Wi-Fi in Flight

I forgot to take a picture of myself writing this post in flight. Thanks to Bekathwia, this will do.

Last summer, I launched a new website called BiteMyIdea.com – a creative canvas for marketing and product ideas that randomly cross my mind but know would never be brought to fruition considering I’d have to either a. Work on product development for the company to gain consideration or b. Work at an agency to pitch the idea to the company.  In light of full transparency (this is a Creative Commons work in progress here), I decided to make public of my ideas for your entertainment or for companies to use.  Better that I have my idea realized at all and at my cost than not at all.  Additionally, I’ve decided to retire the unique site and use this blog as the primary channel.

Some of you may think I’m crazy for publicizing my ideas for free.  Perhaps I can be a little too liberal at times but it’s really just fun for me to jot the ideas fun for you to read, comment, agree, criticize, etc.  So here’s goes the first idea that I’d like to share, as I am flying back to Seattle (from Oakland) from 10,000 feet high and wishing I had access to my WordPress account so that I can publish this blog in real-time. Twitter = Cash Cow?

Last week, Twitter finally announced the news the world had been waiting for: a revenue stream model. People were speculating for months how the social networking phenomenon would monetize itself, with hopes that there would be a profitable plan other than online advertising.
